I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you as a new member of the Villanova University College Republicans.  As you may have seen on our homepage, the goals of our organization are simple: to spread Republican ideals, aid in the election of Republican officials to local, statewide, and national offices, and most importantly, train the future leaders of the Republican party. As we saw in 2008, our generation is capable of having an incredible impact on electoral outcomes. Unfortunately in the past few election cycles, Republican students have not played the key role that they need to, which has undoubtedly contributed to the decisive defeats of Republican candidates and the subsequent loss of majorities in Congress and the White House. It is in groups like ours that rebuilding efforts begin. It is up to us to begin electing Republican politicians at a local level in 2009 and continuing this push into the mid-term elections in 2010.  Below is a brief slideshow outlining some of our activities this coming year. This website and the technologies associated with it will be the launch point of our efforts and allow us to coordinate our actions as we work to ensure that 2010 enters the history books the way 1994 did.
